How much protein do I need?
Most adults fall in the 50-80 gram/day range (.8gms/kgDBW), but some factors affect this calculation, such as gender, activity level, and disease state (if applicable), to name a few.
Excessive intake over a prolonged period may be as detrimental as prolonged inadequate intake. Concentrate on healthy and well-balanced eating.
What is a complete protein?
A complete or whole protein contains all the essential amino acids.
How much water should I drink each day?
Thirst is not a good indicator of hydration status. By the time you notice thirst, you may already be dehydrated. A reasonable goal is to aim for 6-8 glasses of water a day, keeping in mind that most foods contain water, which counts toward reaching your daily intake goal.
What is the difference between a probiotic and a prebiotic?
Probiotics are said to restore our gut’s good bacteria (or good flora), helping the good flora flourish and protect gut maintenance.

Is gluten necessary for maintaining a well-balanced diet?
With all the advances in gluten-free food choices, it is possible to maintain a well-balanced and palatable diet without gluten. Gluten is not included in the daily requirements to maintain a healthy diet.
